Nick Jonas flexes his guns in a feature of him and his brothers – Joe and Kevin – in the latest issue of Out magazine.
Responding to gay rumors, the boys didn’t hold back and addressed why people may have thought that.
“Prior to us being a band, I was a super theater geek,” says Nick. “I loved theater and I still do, and I care about fashion, and I care about a lot of things that I feel like stereotypes are attached to.”
Adds Joe: ”We have a lot of gay friends and gay fans. It’s a boy band stereotype; people assume, but we don’t take offense.”
In fact, they’re excited to be in Out, which Kevin says is “a moment for us for sure. We keep saying, ‘Well, it’s about time.’”
